Ottawa – 34
Winnipeg – 36
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers staged an incredible comeback on Sunday night, rallying from a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Ottawa REDBLACKS 36-34 in overtime at TD Place Stadium. In his first game against his former team since being traded, quarterback Dru Brown threw for 317 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-tying score late in regulation, before converting both two-point attempts in overtime to seal the win. Ottawa appeared in control for much of the game, building a 26-9 lead behind Jake Maier’s season-high 344 passing yards, but Winnipeg’s defence came up with key red-zone stops before Brown led a dramatic late rally. The victory capped one of the Bombers’ most exciting comebacks of the season and handed the REDBLACKS another heartbreaking defeat. Here are some gameday images.
