Redblacks once again struggle on offence and fail to put up points losing 7-21 to the 7-2 Tigercats. Ottawa are now 1-6 in its last seven games midway through the 2019 season. Lewis Wards ends his field goal streak at 69 in a row with a missed 31 yard field goal. It was great after the miss the Ottawa fans gave him a standing ovation for his record. Ward shattered the previous professional football consecutive field goal record of 44 held by NFL veteran Adam Vinatieri. Many have speculated that Ward’s record will never be broken.
