Well it is good to be back – Friday’s game marked the first pre-season league game since 2019 and Ottawa Redblacks had some late-game heroics to pull off a 23-17 win over the Toronto Argonauts. Jeremiah Masoli looked good and was 8 for 11 for 105 yards and one touchdown in his Ottawa debut. Other notables was the play of Jackson Bennett with 7 carries for 62 yards and 40 yard run with minutes left in the game to set up the Redblacks winning score.
